We are looking for candidates who are willing to start from scratch to learn the ropes. Even if you have not worked with an Agency before, we can work with you and hone your team-working skills. We are willing to work with young and fresh candidates with talent to develop your skills for this job. Each person has to be willing to deepen their skills - we do not want you to ever be stagnant in a dead-end job, but to continue growing your skills and talents and your interests.

Job Function

• Be primarily responsible for all XHTML, CSS, & Javascript work required by the Company. However, this also extends to future technology.
• Assist in translating business and user requirements into user interface prototypes and process flows
• Assist in the development of interactive multimedia projects and interfaces including but not limited to websites, web portals, online systems, mobile web applications and interactive kiosk content
• Keep up to date with new HTML / web trends and technologies
• Develop and enhance corporate applications using web development tools
• Assist in the construction of written project documentation, reporting, design documents, test plans and test results
• Assist in conceptualising, visualising and creating layouts, designs and digital design elements for interactive projects (both internal & external), which include (but is not limited to) web layouts, mobile web layouts, web application layouts, design mocks, interactive media designs, sketches, storyboards, presentation deck visual elements, icons, web ads, etc
• Assist in the implementation and slicing of designs from Vector or Raster images into usable and interactive HTML/CSS format
• Developing interactive media designs and applications that encompasses interactive technical elements (Human-Computer-Interaction, SEO, Persuasive Architecture, Eye Tracking, etc.)
• Adhere to project deadlines and ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner
• Assist in internal / in-house projects
• Perform tasks as directed by assigned team leader and the Interactive Director

Requirements:

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Multimedia, Computer Science, or Design

EXPERIENCE:
One to ttwo years of web development experience, whether with a company or as a freelancer (or in experimentation). Fresh candidates are also invited to apply.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Comfortable in presentation concepts, wireframes, etc. to an internal audience.
• Knowledgeable in debugging Cross-Browser Code.
• Experience converting mockups to HTML.
• Dedication to writing clean, organized, standards-compliant client-side code (HTML5, CSS, Javascript).
• Strong background in CSS/CSS3.
• Experience working with a PHP/MySQL database-driven website.
• Working knowledge of digital imaging using Adobe Photoshop
• Experience working with Adobe Flash
• Experience with Drupal. Wordpress and other similar Web Content Management Systems is a plus
• Rudimentary working knowledge of PHP
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox,
• Safari, etc.)
• Startup mentality - we will not be corporate!
